The Kunsthal and the Villages

The Kunsthal and the Villages will bring international contemporary art into 9 villages in the Central Denmark Region during 2017. The collaboration between the villagers, Danish and international visual artists, and Viborg Kunsthal, creates new connections between creative art and the experience of it.

In the course of one week, the artists create their works in different villages in interaction with the people who live there. In continuation of each course, short-term exhibitions will subsequently be held at Viborg Kunsthal’s staircase gallery.
