Celebrate the year - Aarhus Harbor

From 5 to 5.30 pm, the entire finale ceremony in Hvide Sande will be displayed on a giant screen at Aarhus Harbor at Mellemarmen behind Dokk1. In Hvide Sande represents from all of Region Midtjylland will meet to send off positive energies and cultural success to next year’s Capitals of Culture: Leeuwarden in Holland and Valletta in Malta. The finale in Hvide Sande consists of a 30-minute show on both land and water with singing, dancing and professional as well as local performers.

After the live streaming of the event in Hvide Sande, the activities continue on Aarhus Harbor where an outstanding year is remembered through both sound and images. The audience can look forward to experiencing a story by the poet Mads Mygind from Aarhus created especially for the finale.
