INKcap - a novel is on the loose in the streets of Aarhus!

Presented by Lindhardt and Ringhof Publishers

The streets of Aarhus are filled with anonymous artworks. Rosa is very, very interested in them. Rosa is the protagonist of Sissel-Jo Gazan’s major, new Aarhus-based novel, INKcap (Blækhat), which is about street art and growing up in Aarhus, surrounded by very colourful people – and deep, dark secrets.

Before the novel is published, we are releasing the fiction out onto the streets where it takes place. There, you can find pictures of Rosa in several scenes from the book, or you can see the works that she and her friend secretly put up out in the streets.

And you can’t help but notice that something new is going on with the Vestergade building where the world-famous ‘Nuclear Power? No Thanks’ logo, the Smiling Sun, was painted in 1984. Pictures from nuclear tests from all over the world will be projected onto the happy sun. Fiction reclaims the streets!
