Teatret Svalegangen and Aarhus Cathedral

Reinterpreting the rituals of worship, this interactive and interaesthetic art event presented at the iconic Aarhus Cathedral is the scene for a kaleidoscopic mash-up of dance, theatre, music, video installation, food, debate and reflection. The DJ collective Den Sorte Skole joins with priests and actors, Per Vers, Lars Husum and Kaspar Colling; opinion shapers; dancers from Don Gnu company; the Restaurant Gastromé and Aarhus Gospel Choir to create a multifaceted experience that rethinks worship and delivers it to the audience in ways they have never experienced before.

As a visual welcome to set worship free, the artist duo Steen and Hejlesen will create an interactive installation on the external walls of the cathedral.
