NUKIGA 2017

Nukiga means 'my strength' in Greenlandic. NUKIGA 2017 is a chain of events focusing on an active Greenlandic community and its new stories. Exponents of the new stories are: the band Small Time Giants; the artist Mike Jakob Kristiansen; the author Niviaq Korneliussen; and chefs Jeppe Ejvind Nielsen and Inunnguaq Hegelund.

NUKIGA 2017 will have three main themes: 'something for the head, something for the stomach, and something for the feet', presented in two categories: culture and business. The cultural events focus on exciting and innovative music, art, design, literature, theatre. The business events give the Greenlandic business community and entrepreneurs the opportunity to meet Danish and international partners at a business fair in Aarhus in 2017.
