Rethinking Tourism in a Coastal City– Design for New Engagements (RTCC-DNE) is an innovative inter-disciplinary project creating new designs, places and experiences for tourists and local citizens. The new designs take their benchmark from existing stories about the region as a meeting place between the forces of nature and culture.

The project will launch a series of design experiments, which will be co-created by tourists and local citizens. The experiments will take place in Ringkøbing- Skjern around Lyngvig Lighthouse, the Bunker landscape at Houvig, the port of Hvide Sande, the city of Ringkøbing, as well as in other localities.
