Viborg is one of Denmark’s oldest cities, with exciting history, cosy medieval looking streets and beautiful walking streets with interesting shops. Viborg is located in the middle of Jutland, surrounded with the most unique landscape.

Come and experience the history of Viborg in the beautiful Viborg Church, see the bats in Mønsted Kalkgruber, the Iron Age life in Hvolris, high voltage energy at Energimuseet or visit the working museum at Bruunshåb.

You can also experience Viborg from the waterside on a beautiful sailing trip around Viborg lakes, the ship 'Margrethe’ sails every day from May to August. You can also go on a hike or bike tour through Hærvejen, a 500 km route where you will experience the nature and history of Jutland.
