During the RE-DO Conference on sustainability from 28.-31. October 2015, Samsoe Energy Academy has organized a Sustainability Safari for participants at the conference.
This tailor-made walking Safari takes place on Friday 30. October from 9.00-12.30 and will take the delegation from the Hotel Scandic Aarhus City down to the nearby disused freight area, where we will encounter social entrepreneurship, innovative recycling and extraordinary biodiversity.
From there the Safari passes by hidden places and follows the newly re-opened city stream while hearing about the development, the transformation and the liveability of the City of Aarhus.
The Safari will end in the newly opened ARoS FOOD HALL on top of the famous ARoS Art Museum, where we will hear about their extraordinary approach towards sustainability.
The City Architect of Aarhus, Stephen Willacy and the Inspector of the Natural Museum of Aarhus, Morten DD Hansen will accompany us on the Safari.
