About the company
VOLA is a family owned company with its base in Horsens, they have the human as its centre. VOLA started with their first fixture designed for the national bank by Arne Jacobsen in 1968, here there was a focus on simplicity and the totality in the design. After the death of Arne Jacobsen VOLA continued to develop their series and collaborates with other renowned architects. The philosophy in the company is a balance between continuity and change, so the company are both defended and developed. Quality is part of the culture at VOLA, which also means that there is a focus on sustainability which is implemented in durability in their products, besides that their fixtures are also designed on the inside to save water, adjusted for the users’ needs.
