Life Boats celebrates milestone

One of European Capital of Cultures great beacons have now come a big step closer to its journey into Europe.

Project Life-Boats, which is one of European Capital of Cultures major cultural beacons are now ready to apply the finishing touches on the second of a total of three sculptures which are ambassadors of European Capital of Culture in Denmark and the rest of Europe up to 2017.

'My ship is loaded with life' is the second boat called, which is now ready to be finalized.

Program Director of European Capital of Culture Gitte Just is one of many volunteers who made the trip to Northern Jutland to help with the work.

"Life-Boats is a unique project that will play a key role for the Capital of Culture. Therefore, I look forward to being part of this creative process, where I have the opportunity to get close to the project," says Just.
