Aarhus on the gastronomic map

The international travel guide Lonely Planet places Aarhus as one of ”the world’s tastiest destinations” in the new gastronomic guide ”Food Trails”.

Among 52 globally featured trails, the book includes an homage to Aarhus as a full-blown culinary destination, European Capital of Culture and European Region of Gastronomy in 2017.

Restaurants, food markets and producers are praised for a ”strong focus on invention in the kitchen, supported by excellent local, organic produce”. Love food? Then Aarhus is the place to visit.
