Music and Sound

TAPE

In relation to the European Capital of Culture Aarhus 2017 finale, Tape arranges a night where the venue will be transformed into an inferno of impressions. The room will be shrouded in a visual design based on the musical expressions provided by Sortlegeme, Niki Istrefi and ANTN.

Thereby, TAPE is transformed into a setting where visuals and sound together will form a unique whole.

Sortlegeme:
Jeppe Dalsgaard has been noticed for the ambient and drone project Outer Nothingness. With Sortlegeme, he moves away from the otherwise dwelling and hypnotizing productions and towards a dark and ecstatic tribal-techno that also ooze of warmth and melody. Besides two tapes at Moral Defeat and a digital release at Memory No.36 Recordings in 2016, Sortlegeme released the LP ‘Kolossal’ at SRT Records earlier this year.

ANTN:
ANTN is a local 26-year-old techno artist. ANTN produces and performs using primarily hardware: drum machines, synthesizers and whatever he may find on his way. He does intense improvised techno/noise live sets with a modular synthesizer built into a green foam suitcase and a few drum machines.

FUNERAL FUTURE (Euromantic)
Behind the name are Adam Askov and Alexander Salomonsen who specialize in thundering techno with both dynamic and dystopic sound.
