Super8000

Presented by Super 8, Aarhus Filmværksted og Filmtalent in cooperation with Aarhus 2017 and Central Denmark Region
The Super8000 Film Festival brings a weekend of rethinking talent film to Aarhus. During the festival the audience will experience 59 short films by young, innovative talents from 20 different countries, exhibiting the diverse talents of new European filmmakers. Leading up to the festival, a micro-experimental workshop will be conducted by 12 European and Danish film talents, who seek out new ways of developing stories for the screen in both the classic media and in VR-storytelling. The results will be screened to the audience, among moderated debates on talent development and on developing innovative stories for the screen. Let’s rethink talent film together!

Aarhus 2017 and the Central Denmark Region present THE BIG LITTLE FILM FESTIVAL, a weekend of films from talented international and local filmmakers showcasing storytelling, documentary, animation, commercial communication and experimentation. The festival is a rolling programme of short formats telling some of the unique stories of place, examine Danish DNA in satirical fashion, demonstrate aesthetics of difference and methodologies of approach.
