New Danish Modern

Presented by Business by Design, Design Denmark, Aarhus 2017 and Central Denmark Region 

Denmark is design! The New Danish Modern exhibition gives an historical perspective on Danish Design and creates a platform for the celebration of present and future design. It applauds great Danish design personalities and takes a look into the future of the next generation of design and designers. 

Design shapes our lives and environments and has appeal for everyone including aspiring creatives. The exhibition will include 'handson' workshops that invite kids and families to participate in cocreating, shaping and imagining their design futures. Pop-up venues will create an environment that is changing throughout the week. 

Design Talks are curated between various partners, there will be showcasing of the Danish Design Award winners, Master Classes will be offered and in general there will a celebration of great design.
